What is Skratch Labs?
Skratch Labs was founded by Dr Allen Lim, a former sports scientist and professional cycling coach. His cyclists were complaining about their race nutrition, so Dr Lim began making his own food and sports drinks from scratch, using real food as fuel. He eventually came up with a ‘secret drink mix’ in his kitchen, using a recipe that had less sugar, more sodium and no artificial sweeteners, flavours or colours. Dr Lim knew he was onto something when this mix quickly became popular with athletes and non-athletes alike, so he expanded production to meet demand. Now, Skratch Labs creates all kinds of sports nutrition products including energy bars, chews, rice cakes and more. The commitment to real food and ingredients, however, remains the same.
